CBD stands for cannabidiol, a compound found naturally in hemp plants. Unlike THC, CBD is not intoxicating. All Happy Dance™ products are infused with CBD from full spectrum hemp extract made from hemp grown in the USA.

CBD is federally legal in the United States. However, different states have different rules and regulations on CBD. 

No, CBD will not get you high. But, it will make you feel like you’re turning the volume down on the chaos in your life jusssst a little bit. THC is the stuff that gets you high, and all of our products have less than the federally legal limit of 0.3% THC. These teeny tiny amounts aren’t nearly enough to get you high when used as directed.

Cannabis is a broad term that refers to a plant in the Cannabaceae family. The hemp plant is a specific type of cannabis plant that contains high levels of non-intoxicating CBD and very low levels of THC. Hemp isn’t good for getting high, but it is really good for making a luxurious line of CBD-based skincare products.

Okay, science lesson time: CBD isolate is made up almost entirely of CBD molecules that have been isolated from parts of the hemp plant. CBD from full spectrum hemp extract, the kind we use in Happy Dance™ products, contains many different components including cannabinoids and terpenes. Broad spectrum hemp extract is somewhere in between the two. As for “the kind of CBD that will get you high,” it doesn’t exist (that’s THC’s job).

Happy Dance™ products feature CBD from full spectrum hemp extract. Hemp seed oil contains antioxidants, amino acids, and omega-3 and -6 fatty acids and has long been available in health food stores but it contains only trace amounts of CBD. If you are looking for CBD products, generally avoid products that only feature hemp seed oil because they will typically provide you with very little CBD.  

Happy Dance™ products contain CBD from full spectrum hemp extract, which contains non-intoxicating, trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%). Because the compounds analyzed in drug tests, the testing methods, and levels of detection vary, we are unable to make any claims or guarantees regarding use of our products and drug tests.

Happy Dance™ products are tested by third party ISO certified labs and manufactured in facilities following Good Manufacturing Practices. Additionally, each product formula is evaluated through clinical testing according to cosmetic industry standards.

We also give you access to a Certificate of Analysis for every product that allows you to see exactly what’s in each product, and more importantly, what’s not.

Happy Dance™ products are not tested on animals and we never ask others to do so on our behalf because we believe it’s important to produce products that are cruelty-free. 

Happy Dance™ products are made with care and do not include any animal byproducts. 

We keep sustainability in mind when creating all Happy Dance™ products. Our product packaging components are made from recyclable materials when possible and, when applicable, use FSC Certified Paper. Even the packing peanuts we use are made from organic starch so they are 100% biodegradable and can decompose in water without leaving toxic waste. 

We are proud members of How2Recycle® and are actively working to get more of our product packaging into even more recycling bins!

Happy Dance™ products should be used by customers who are 21+

Proposition 65 is a regulation in the state of California that requires businesses to inform Californians about exposures to certain substances and chemicals. 

Proposition 65 requires that any product sold in California that may contain THC (even trace amounts) has a warning label displayed. Since our hemp-derived CBD products may contain trace amounts of THC (not exceeding 0.3%), we are required to display the Proposition 65 warning label on our packaging, website and in stores. We ship our products to many states in the United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Please email us at info@DoAHappyDance.com as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel your order or change a shipping method. We process orders quickly but will do our best to accommodate your request.

Standard Shipping orders typically take 1 – 10 business days depending on your location. Standard Shipping orders are typically processed within 48 – 72 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday. Orders received after 2pm on Friday and on the weekends will be processed the following Monday. Please see our Shipping Policy for details.

Orders under $300 can be delivered to a PO Box. For orders over $300, we require a signature for delivery, so a physical address where someone will be available to receive and sign for the package is required.

Standard Shipping is offered via USPS and takes 3 – 12 business days, depending on location and product mix. If Standard Shipping is selected, orders will typically be process and shipped within four business days.

Free Standard Shipping is offered via USPS and takes 3 – 12 business days depending on location and product mix. If Free Standard Shipping is selected, orders will typically be processed and shipped within four business days.

In addition to Standard Shipping, we also offer 2-day and overnight expedited shipping options, which are presented during the checkout process. Expedited Shipping orders are process same day Monday through Friday until 1pm Pacific Time (PT). Expedited Shipping orders that are placed after 1pm PT on Friday through Sunday will not ship until the following Monday.

On national holidays our shipping partners may be closed or offer limited holiday service. In such cases, temporary holiday shipping policy terms will be displayed via pop up and via the Cart Page before the Checkout process.

Happy Dance™ products are currently shipped only to select states in the United States. International shipping is not available at this time.

For all orders over $300, we require a signature for delivery. Please be sure to use an address where someone will be available during the day to accept shipment.

If you track a USPS package and it shows no movement, rest assured that your package has been sent out. USPS sometimes does not scan packages until they arrive at their final destination.
